The Georgia App Design Challenge encourages students to learn and apply computer science skills while building their confidence, motivation, and student portfolios. In collaboration with the Georgia Tech Center for Education Integrating Science, Mathematics, and Computing, this statewide event allows Georgia students to develop and share their software applications on a platform of their choice.
This challenge encourages students to develop a mobile application that will solve a current problem facing their local community. The theme for the CS4GA app and design challenge for this school year will be Smart Communities and Sustainability.
How do students enter their app?
New! Teachers will submit student projects (video and written responses) to GaDOE judging. Teachers will register student app development teams by February 2, 2024.

Demonstration Video:Students must create a 1-2 minute video, showcasing what the app does and how it works.
